Thorong La Pass

Thorong La Pass is the physical and emotional climax of the Annapurna Circuit. Connecting the village of Manang with the sacred site of Muktinath, crossing this pass requires a strenuous, pre-dawn start to avoid high afternoon winds. Reaching the prayer-flag-draped summit provides an overwhelming sense of achievement and sweeping views of the barren Mustang region to the west.
