Muktinath
Muktinath is the sanctuary at the end of the Thorong La pass descent. Regarded as a holy site of salvation, the temple complex features 108 waterspouts where pilgrims bathe, and an eternal flame sustained by natural gas. The surrounding dramatic, desert-like terrain of the lower Mustang valley makes this spiritual destination exceptionally visually striking.
